The Power Box build quality is second to none and is the only box available in the UK with certified TUV approval making it the most reliable product on the market. We are the only company to supply a digital RISC processor inside the unit which does not cause a time lag while processing the data, other tuning unit's use analogue electronics that manipulate control signals sent to the injection pump giving uneven power and torque delivery. An example of this type of box is when you turn a screw while fitting the box to a car.
All Power Box modules contain a digital microprocessor. This 'chip' intercepts the fuelling signals being sent from the ECU to the fuel pump and digitises the signal (i.e. converts it to a number). It then uses this converted value to 'look up' the new output signal value from the pre-programmed fuel map inside the Power Box, which is based on the half and full throttle fuel map from the original ECU. The optimised output value is then converted back to an analogue signal, which is then fed in real-time to the pump. All analogue boxes on the other hand contain primative electronics which manipulate the control signals by multiplying the analogue signal by a certain analogue value. The digital method can thus be tailored exactly to meet the engines requirements at all rpms throughout the rev range. The Power Box is compact in size through Storage Module Device (SMD) technology, shock resistant and protected against water entry. Most units fit to your car using original manufacturers plugs, they plug in very quickly, you simply open the existing plugs and fit your Power Box in between; other units fit to your car using special connectors that attach to the original wires on the ECU harness, these clip in very quickly and there is no intervention with the ECU itself - full colour instructions are supplied with each box.
With the Power Box there are no adjustments necessary as each Power Box has 4 individually tailored fuel maps for your specific make and model of car and uses the modern Reduced Instruction Set Computer (RISC) processing for real-time data processing.
